Compiled by Arthur and Nancy Kelly, this collection of birth and baptism records was taken from the New York church registers of 1660-1916. It contains over 75,000 records from Dutchess, Greene, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster, and Westchester counties and provides details on more than 220,000 individuals. In addition to the child's name and date of birth or baptism, researchers can find information on parents' names, names of sponsors, and notes included in these vital records. Further information and books from which these records were taken can be obtained from Arthur and Nancy Kelly, 305 Cedar Heights Road, Rhinebeck, NY, 12572. This database contains new material provided by Arthur Kelly and previously posted material under the title New York Births and Baptisms.
