Box 313, Carson City, NV 89702-0313. It will be forwarded to the inquirers. I saw mention of Alice Van Valkenburg on the Genealogical Information page. It said she was a widow born 180? I had an Aunt Alice (Echelberger born Nebraska homestead 1872) Van Valkenburg (school teacher) living in Minneapolis in the 1940s. I saw her in 1944 at which time she was retired. I think she died in the 1950s. I never knew the first name of her husband. They had a daughter Amber, who was a professional piano player around Minneapolis in the 40s. My folks and I went to see her perform when we were there in 1944. Lost track of them after that (I was 12). If by chance you run across those names would you please share the info with me? Thanks. Melvin B. Echelberger, MEMBERSHIP MATTERS From: Florence Davis One of best things about being Membership Chairman is the letters I get from VV descendants who have just discovered the NAVVF. "Where have you been all my life?" one enthusiastic family researcher wrote. "My sister and I have been searching for other VV's for years." Another VV said, "At last a ladder to get over this brick wall I've been up against for so long!" |
