MEET JOHN & DORIS BEFF

John and Doris (VV Hughes) Beff (Br. 4-U), formerly from Endicott, N.Y., live in Charlotte, N. C. John is retired from IBM, and is a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. He served in the China, Burma, India Theater. Doris is mainly a wife and mother, and is in her second year serving as secretary on the NAVVF Board of Directors.

This is a second marriage for both, having lost their spouses to death. Between them they have 10 children, 20 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and are expecting two more "greats."

Doris' father was Clinton Van Valkinburgh, son of Edward ( Vol. II, Pg. 57).
