Looking for Van Looking for parents of Gertrude VV, born about 1769, married Abraham J. Peek, son of Jacobus Peek 17/Jan/ 1799 at Schenectady. Vol. II, p. 252, of the VV books lists her name, although her husband's name is spelled incorrectly there. Some sources say she was the daughter of Johannes VV and Airianntje Van Buren, but as yet this has not been confirmed. I'm hoping someone has old family records with information not in public records. Anne Comer (comerslr@halcyon.com) From Lorine McGinnis Schulze: A friend of mine is looking for his mother, Beverly Leona Van Valkenburg born Sep 1930 in Lawton, Oklahoma to an unmarried Van Valkenburg female (name unknown). This lady was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Orville Steinhauser and that is all my friend knows. He has been trying to fit Beverly (his mother) into the VV tree but without success. Does anyone have a database that they can access to type in her name, date of birth, place of birth, or some keyword to see if there is a 'fit'?
